How does agentic shopping relate to agentic commerce?
The terms overlap. Agentic shopping usually focuses on the buyer’s perspective: discovering products, checking offers and preparing to make a purchase.
Agentic commerce describes the broader use of AI agents in commerce. This can also include providing product data, processing orders and handling payments.

Ask your assistant to search the available Pricewatcha catalog for relevant offers. Results depend on the products and data available.

Add product links and check price history
Provide a supported product link to have its price recorded. Existing price history helps you compare the current price with earlier observations.

For newly added products, price history builds up as more observations are recorded.
Watch products and set price alerts
With the required authenticated Pricewatcha access, you can watch products over time and set price alerts. Pricewatcha runs the recurring price checks, so you do not need to keep a conversation with your AI assistant open.

- Search for the product you want or provide a product link.
- The assistant retrieves the available product information and existing price history.
- Decide how much you want to pay.
- With the required access, ask the assistant to create a suitable price alert.
- When a Pricewatcha price check detects a price that meets your alert conditions, you receive a notification according to your alert settings.
You decide whether and when to buy. You complete the purchase with the retailer.
What should you check in the results?
A price comparison is only as complete as the available data. Check the product variant, condition, shipping costs and availability. Offers for refurbished products can differ significantly.
Price history shows previously observed prices. It does not guarantee a future price drop or the lowest price across the entire market. Check the retailer’s current details before purchasing.
